Rudram Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust, established in the year 2013 with the vision of imparting training and awareness in the field of healthcare to the people in need. The trust was originally established at Bainchigram in Hoogly district with its trustees as Mr. Bhabani Kumar Ganguly, Ms. Sampa Chakroborty and Mr. Samir Chakroborty. Presently, Rudram Foundation is located in Chinsurah in Hoogly district with its present trustees as Dr. Amrit Das, Mr. Kaushik Ganguly and Ms. Amreen Ahmed. The foundation of the trust was led to bring in awareness about healthcare and to supplement it with the required workforce. Upholding our vision of contributing to the society, the organisation has been actively engaged in spreading awareness on various aspects of healthcare through training and social activities for almost a decade.
To empower and to egress those people who missed out the opportunity in their careers, lost confidence in themselves and are dejected. Our task as Rudram Foundation is to entitle people in the society especially women to embellish self-sustainability and assertiveness by generating career opportunities in healthcare segment through productive training and technical knowledge.
To extend the number of people with our expertise in the society people in need by means of which we can reinforce the healthcare system with skillful personnel and fill out the manpower deficiency. We, Rudram Foundation aim at building a healthier society where basic healthcare facilities are accessible by all.
The primary function is training and teaching healthcare workers. Rudram Foundation in association with St. John Ambulance (India) offers assistant nursing courses across various centres in different districts of West Bengal. It is a comprehensive course which includes three months of theory, three months of practice, and six months of internship at speciality nursing homes and hospitals across the state. On successful completion, the trainees are awarded certificates from St. John Ambulance (India) bearing the signature of the Honourable President of India and Governor of West Bengal. The certificates and the intensive training create avenues of employment at both private and government healthcare facilities.
2. Camps
Rudram Foundation organises and conducts various camps, and workshops in the state of West Bengal to spread awareness, and provide free healthcare facilities for upliftment and support to the society. To mention a few Rudram Foundation organises the following camps/events throughout the year across the state.

They foundation provides first aid services during public congregations and events like Gangasagar Mela and various other events.
An Inter-School Quiz Competition was organised by Rudram Foundation at Bansberia in Hooghly on 16th of January 2023.
